Old Main Renovation

Old Main is the University of Arizona's original building and an historic icon for the UA. Over the years the building has received incremental remedial improvements and continues to require significant attention as it ages. The building will undergo structural repairs, infrastructure improvements as well as a complete renovation to be re-purposed for administrative functions.

The first level interior spaces are complete, and are currently occupied. Re-construction of interior spaces on the second level is substantially complete with only the final activities of flooring installation and millwork remaining. On the building exterior, the replacement of the roof is complete and the porch framing is receiving finishing touches. The site landscaping is complete with the exception of the west side which is receiving new walking surfaces and turf.
